     威海华东重工有限公司是由威海华东数控股份有限公司与 **世界的机床制造商德国希斯庄明有限公司于2009年1月8日成立的合作公司。公司注册资本3268万美元，其*东数控占68.83%，希斯庄明占22.94%。公司的主要产品为重型、**重型数控机床、高端重型石化容器、能源设备、船舶工业、主要精密重型零部件及成套设备。

    公司的两大股东均为**机床业界的制造商，其*东数控成立于2002年，并与2008年成功地在深圳证券交易所上市（股票代码：002248），以研制、生产高端数控机床及其关键功能部件为主营业务。

    德国希斯庄明有限公司是**世界的重型、**重型机床的设计和制造商，继承了希斯公司**的技术积液。中外两大制造商的携手合作，为华东重工的起步和发展，奠定了坚实的技术基础。

     Weihai Huadong Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. Was created as a Joint-Venture in January  2008 by its two shareholders, Weihai Huadong Automation Co., Ltd, which hold 68.83% of share, and Shiess - Brighton, , the world renowned machine tools manufacturer in German, which holds 22.94% share.

The company mainly supplies heavy, and extra-heavy duty CNC machine tools, petro-chemical top-grade heavy containers, energy equipments, shipbuilding industry equipments, and key components and precision parts of all above.

Both two shareholders own reputation and rich experience in machine tool manufacturing field. Huadong Automation Co., Ltd, which is expert in top-grade CNC machine tools and its key parts production, was established in 2002, and got listed on the stock market successfully in Shenzhen Stock exchange in 2008.

Schiess-Brighton Co., Ltd, owning 100 years of history in the field, is   reputed of heavy and extra-heavy duty machine tools design and manufacture.
